##  Kein Aufschub mehr: Es ist 5 nach 12

 

**Berlin, 08.10.2025:** Die Kabinettssitzung zur Weiterentwicklung der THG-Quote verschiebt sich noch weiter nach hinten. Die ohnehin knapp bemessene Zeit zur RED III-Umsetzung in diesem Jahr würde damit weiter geschmälert. Mit einem weiteren Aufschub droht das Aus für die rechtzeitige Umsetzung des so wichtigen Gesetzespakets zum Beginn 2026. Das würde ein Inkrafttreten erst 2027 bedeuten und damit ein weiteres Jahr Hängepartie für die erneuerbaren Energien im Verkehr.

Ein Nackenschlag, von dem sich viele ehrlich arbeitende Unternehmen nicht erholen könnten. „Wenn die Maßnahmen nicht noch in diesem Jahr umgesetzt werden, drohen sie bereits, für einige Marktteilnehmer zu spät zu kommen“, kommentiert Stefan Schreiber, Sprecher der Initiative Klimabetrug Stoppen. Erste namhafte Unternehmen wurden durch den Betrug bereits in die Insolvenz gedrängt, weitere könnten 2026 folgen.

Auch Investitionen in nachhaltige Mobilität liegen durch die anhaltenden Marktverwerfungen auf Eis. Das behindert den Hochlauf der erneuerbaren Energien im Verkehr und damit das Erreichen der deutschen Klimaziele. Dabei hinkt der Verkehrssektor ohnehin hinterher - Erneuerbare Energien machen im Verkehr nur etwa sieben Prozent aus. Bei der Stromproduktion hingegen ist der Anteil der Erneuerbaren in Deutschland bereits über 50 Prozent.

Der Entwurf zur RED III-Umsetzung beinhaltet einige wichtige Maßnahmen, um den taumelnden Markt zu stabilisieren. Um ein Signal für Klimaschutz im Verkehr zu senden, müssen diese nun fristgerecht zum 01.01.2026 in Kraft treten. „Die Umsetzung der RED III duldet keinen Aufschub mehr. Für die geschädigte Branche ist es bereits fünf nach zwölf“, mahnt Sandra Rostek, Sprecherin der Initiative.
